# Bulk Metadata Editing

Assign shop, price, tags, creator info and behaviour to many items at once

## Introduction

Setting a shop, a price or a creator name one item at a time is fine for ten drawables and unbearable for three hundred. **Bulk metadata editing** applies those fields across many clothes in one action.

{% hint style="info" %}
Requires an **Ultimate** subscription.
{% endhint %}

## Choosing what to edit

Work on the items you have selected, or narrow the whole project by **gender**, **item kind** or **drawable type**.

## Choosing what to change

Tick only the fields you actually want to write. Anything left unticked is not touched on any item.

* **Shop** assignment
* **Price**
* **Restriction tags**
* **Creator info**, see [Creator Info](/basics/useful-to-know/creator-info.md)
* **Behaviour options**, see [Behaviour Flags](/game-mechanics/behaviour-flags.md)

Before anything is applied you get a summary of how many items are **affected** and how many are **skipped**, so a filter that turned out to be wider than you thought is visible before the edit rather than after it.

## What it deliberately does not do

* **Existing per texture price overrides stay intact.** A bulk price sets the drawable price and leaves any per texture override you configured alone. See [Shop Meta File](/game-mechanics/shop-meta-file.md).
* **Ordering fields are excluded on purpose.** Bulk editing can never renumber, reposition or rename your items, so it cannot shift drawable IDs in a pack that is already live. To change positions, see [Items Position Number](/basics/essential-knowledge/items-position-number.md).
